"Exceptional"
Very nice hotel for the area, definitely the best place to stay compared to the other hotels around. 5 minutes from the beach, great complimentary breakfast and the rooms are spacious with everything you need for a quick trip. The pool is a little small but still nice plus you have the beach near by.

Location was great only a real close to the beach/boardwalk but not so close you have traffic. I liked that the pool was surrounded by the actual hotel, gave me the feeling it’s secured and no randoms are just going to walk in. I actually felt like the sq footage was larger than advertised I was very surprised by the size of the room that was great to walk into.

Was very close to the boardwalk as well as downtown. Had an amazing time while staying, my best friend and so couldn’t stop saying how close everything was while staying!

The front desk did not honor a military discount. Big red flag there. Hated the location. Hated valet parking, no one drives my car but me... extra stupid charges. This hotel was in a random spot, just street parking in a sad neighborhood. Glad my windows weren't broken and car still there in the am. Poor amenities, skimped, no attention to detail as far as little lotions, makeup remover,ear plugs. Noisy when people are in the pool. Less expensive hotels offer much more than this place. No plants inside to purify the air or look lush. Boring decor... photos of surfboards. So far from the beach... Designed for the male guest, not for females. OVERPRICED.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, the cleaning staff was amazing. We enjoyed having a warm breakfast with lots of variety. The security was great, felt safe.

Loved the close proximity to Santa Cruz Boardwalk (it was walkable but we drove). Room was clean and spacious. Easy access from the highway. Valet guys were fast and friendly.
